Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team at Fluxion Innovations. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to the company’s specifications. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly websites that feature clear navigation and responsive design.
Responsibilities:
Website Development: Create, maintain, and optimize websites for both desktop and mobile platforms.
Coding: Write clean, well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages as required.
CMS Management: Manage and customize content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
UI/UX Design Collaboration: Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into functional websites.
Responsive Design: Ensure websites are responsive and function well across all devices and screen sizes.
Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing to identify bugs and issues, and perform timely troubleshooting and debugging.
SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and ranking.
Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure websites function smoothly across different web browsers.
Version Control: Use version control systems like Git to manage and collaborate on code development.
Project Management: Work with project managers to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to gather requirements and provide updates on progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience: Fresher to 2 years of experience in web development.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and one or more JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
CMS Expertise: Experience with popular CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal.
Database Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Design Tools: Basic knowledge of design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch is a plus.
SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO principles and web analytics.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
